I was craving some Korean cheese corn so my SIL brought me over to explore Korean town and I'm in love. There are so many shops but we happened upon 5 senses. The staff was so quick and attentive. We were seated and our food was out so quickly! The interior is cute with long rows for the traditional Korean style community seating. We ordered the cheese corn (soooo good), the kimchi fried rice seafood and side of silken tofu stew and lastly the stone bibimbop. Wasn't a fan of the bibimbop as it lacked flavor in my opinion but I enjoyed everything else and the serving sizes were large. I would say they are shareable and not individually sized so going with a group is best.

If you like fried rice, corn cheese and korean fried chicken. You no longer have to choose or order multiple dishes. You can get it all in one on a hot plate! Plus the complimentary bonchon is very tasty and big portions.

This was some of the best food I've had since moving to NYC. Amazing taste, good portion sizes, and good service as well. We got the seafood kimchi fried rice with egg and cheese, seafood ddukbokki, and scallion pancakes (with seafood) and all of it was so good. Highly recommend.

Recently stopped by for a quick dinner after the Panda Day street festival. The decor is modern and all patrons are having a blast dining here. Service is prompt and efficient, especially this Korean woman that served us, she was very lovely. I got the cold noodles, which is a must-get item during the scorching hot months of NYC. Extremely refreshing and satisfying after walking outside in the heat. I added a little bit of the kimchi side dish to make mine slightly spicy. My partner got the Seolleongtang because he was craving it. The broth is milky and rich, gotta add a lot of salt and pepper yourself to properly season it though, adjust accordingly. Perfect to eat with a bowl of hot rice. You can't miss with Five Senses, it is consistent and gets the job done if you are craving a quick Korean bite any time.

No frill, good food fast service in and out. This is what I like. We came on a Friday night 6pm. They were busy but we were seated right away. For 2, we ordered the Naemyong and seafood pancake to split. The banchans were plentiful and everything was delicious. We finished and left quickly to free up tables for waiting patrons. Would definitely return to try other items.

I hear only good things about five senses, and actually have been here before, but probably never took pictures then. Anyway , I want to leave a review given I enjoyed my meal so much and already planning my next one. We came in for a weekday lunch and were seated right away, nice place in the heart of KTown. We ordered the silken tofu soup ( So good ), kimchi fried rice without meat, and bibimbap. Every dish was beyond our expectations, spicy, hot and delicious. Highly recommend if you love Korean flavors like kimchi and spices.
